Great idea, but..
Well, it was a great idea for Valentine’s Day, and my fiancé liked it, but it’s a bit pricey for what you get. I could’ve went to the local store and bought a pound of homemade jerky for the price of this box. Also, the packages of jerky are like totally impossible to open. Like, why couldn’t there be a little perforated part somewhere or something? Like I said, it was a good gift idea for my jerky crazed fiancé, but not totally worth the money.

Less than I thought
The jerky was delicious but you only get 1-2 peices of each flavor. I feel like the images lead you to believe you are getting more than just a bite of eat.

Lots of fun, but do the math!
It's delicious, It's special. It's fun! BUT it's just five ounces for $35.00, and so at $7 per ounce, this equals $112 a pound. You can get Wagyu beef for that. Just sayin'. But after all, it's marketing!

Jerky Heart....
I was really excited to get my husband something different for this Valentines Day....Happy with the bright red heart packaging and while yes they do list the sizes of the jerky .05 oz--who knows how that translates into size truly, so I was highly disappointed with how small each piece was for the price... ($48 with shipping of $12.47 and I live on the east coast)...as I thought they were going to be the same size as the wrapper shown in the box. They are about the size of 1/2 of my thumb or smaller than a Hershey's Miniature. More bite sized than anything...Otherwise, cool gift idea....

Neat Meat
It's a neat idea but when it came I was a little disappointed to see there is only a single, bite-sized piece of jerky in each package. I guess just like there would be in a normal box chocolates. I understand meat is more expensive but overall, for the price I would like to get a little more in each package (3-5 bites at least!) I'll have to wait and see, hopefully the taste makes it worth it!

Great flavors, horrible price
My partner loved all the flavors but the price is not worth it. You get 10 inch pieces of cooked beef, not jerky, for $50 once you include the shipping costs. If this is how Man Crates values their products, I likely won't be purchasing again.

Valentine's Jerky gift
Kind of feels like a "Bait and Switch" to be featured on The Today Show and then when I immediately go to the website to order the Valentine's box of jerky, it's is labeled "Out of Stock". Disappointed.

Where's the beef?
Loved the idea of this, and just about everything on this site! I was let down when I saw how tiny the pieces of meat were.I was almost embarrassed to give it to him cause it was so chintzy. I would have rather paid more and to receive more product.

It’s changed
I’ve ordered this for the past few years for Valentine's for my husband and he always loved the jerky. He was excited this year only to find they changed them from jerky to beef sticks. He is very disappointed and said the beef sticks “suck” . They need to change the name of its not jerky

Oey....
I have to agree with other posters, it is way over priced. 5 oz of jerky for $50. The heart shaped box was a nice touch. The jerky is also hard to open but was tasty.

Cost too high for what you get
This heart shaped box was 50 dollars and when it arrived it had tiny pieces of beef jerky. Should have had more Keeley in the box.

What a rip-off!!!
For $40 I could have bought 2-3 full bags of jerky at the store plus a gift bag.

Jerky
My bad, really, for not reading the discription thoroughly. I thought I would get my husband a special gift for Father’s Day. He loves jerky. We don’t have a lot of money, so it took a lot of hoarding money out of the grocery fund, to find out I paid $40 for 5 ounces of jerky. I’m so sad.

Good, But....
Great concept and packaging. I loved this when I received it as a gift but the individual packages are impossible to open and the flavors were barely distinguishable (except the habanero and ghost but even they were similar).

Do NOT waste your money on this.
Mediocre to terrible flavors. Slimy jerky. About 1/5 of the amount of jerky you could get for this dollar amount. Was a complete disappointment. Husband tried to make it fun by sharing, but you can’t hide the disgust on your face when the jerky is comparable to the three dollar trash jerky you get at a gas station.

Fun idea but very disappointing
Ordered this heart and received in time for the valentine's day. Not impressed after my husband opened it this morning-10 individual packages just too small like one bite each, for the price this really is disappointing, for something I had high expectations for. It’s like no thought was put in.

Surprised
$40 plus shipping for hardly any meat at all. I was dissatisfied as soon as I opened it prior to giving to my spouse.

Way too expensive for what you get
I received this as an early v-day gift from my wife. The meat its self was good, but blowing $40 on 5 ounces of meat is a bit crazy. You are definitely paying for the novelty. We were not impressed. For a reference... the pieces are about 1/3 the size of a standard key fob.

Extremely small portions
I’m extremely disappointed in the size of these bags of jerky. Granted it does say the oz size on the description of the product, I guess I just expected them to be bigger. Definitely not worth the 60 dollars I spent after tax and shipping.

TINY JERKY
I figured these would be small sample packs of jerky with maybe 2-3 strips in their but I was EXTERMELY disappointed when I got it because the jerky was SO TINY. 1 bite size piece of jerky in each packet. It definitely is not worth $40.

Beef samples
Purchased this for Valentine’s Day. Was disappointed when I opened the heart box to check out the jerky to find out that they were just a bite of each jerky. I feel that my most of my money went to the cardboard heart box and the box that it was shipped in. This item is not worth the price
