Ordered this for my husband as a Valentine’s Day present. It loved it but it didn’t come with the crow bar. Luckily we already habe one.

My hubby was ecstatic about the gift! I splurged to get the diabolical tape and it was worth it! We were all laughing but once he got through the tape and moved the crate slightly the whole bottom came right off so that was a disappointment for sure. He never even got to attempt to open with the crow bar. We are excited to try the pizza on the grill, just have to wait for the snow to melt. We also purchased the jerky canes, the jerky is amazing!

So my husband was super excited to pry open this crate. He had been talking about making pizza on the grill ever since we got our Primo, and loves how you can piece together all of the stones to fit the size of pizza you are making.
The one tiny detail that almost ruined the whole thing is that the box that the crate was packed in (Not the shipping box) had a sticker right on top that said exactly what crate was inside. My husband tried to look away, but did see the word "pizza." That took away some of the surprise for him. Maybe use a code on the label, or cover the label over with a funny sticker before packing it in the shipping box? That was the only real bummer. He had a lot of fun prying the crate open.

I got a man crate for my dad a few years ago and he loved it, even had a hard time opening it. I got him the pizza grilling crate this year and luckily I pulled it out of the cardboard box first, because the ENTIRE crate fell apart. I had to nail it all back together and got glue some of the other pieces on. The last crate that he got years ago is still going strong, he even put hinges on it and uses it in the garage. Not sure what the deal is, but these new crates need to get it together.

This was my 2nd crate the customized growler crate was great. This is a bit of a miss. The bottom of the crate was almost off when i got it. For everyones enjoyment I still pried at the top which wasnt fully seated so it came right off with little effort. The pizza peel is also super thick with a minor taper on the end so i would imagine it wont pick up a pizza just push it back into the grill.

My man loved this! But I was really disappointed when I saw the bottom of the crate was falling apart :( I made him open it from the top so he had some sort of a challenge but he wanted to rip it from the bottom (I don’t blame him). All and all the gift was awesome but I more so paid for the struggle of opening which I didn’t really get.

I really liked the surprise of a duct taped box showing up to my door, I had no idea what it was. After slicing the edges of the tape and opening the box I removed the wooden crate. The bottom of the crate was warped and thin and fell off. My buddy called me later to ask how long it took me to open it since he paid an extra $10 for the duct tape , I told him 30 seconds for the box and the crate just fell apart....too bad. Once the items inside were removed it was really cool, I loved the pizza stones. Unfortunately the pizza peel would have been much better with a steel peel instead of the quarter inch wood slat that I will not use. Everything else is usable and appreciated, just wish it would have been more fun to open.

I got this gift for my husband for Valentine's day. When he opened it we found out that the flour package was broken and flour was everywhere. Not worth the price. So dissapointed.

Disappointed my man crate doesn’t meet the expectation. Pizza peel missing hardware to attach handle and recipe book.

Do not buy this!! i am telling you this thing is not what you think. you get 4 stones, a pizza paddle, and roller. You also get one pack of dough that takes around 8 hours to make, yes 8 hours. you have to mix it for 10 minutes, let it sit for 20 then put in fidge for 4 hours then let sit another 3. Also, you will and i repeat will need a mixer to make the dough, a hand blender will not work. Then you get a cook book to tell you how to make a pizza. so for $100 you are basically getting a bag of flour, cook book and 8 hours of frustration. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
