So, I got this for myself, since not many people I know would think to get this for me. I spent way too much time cutting it carefully, but was really pretty neat, and yielded a very cool, no-sew bag. There’s a lot to be said for the sheer simplicity of this bag. Anyone you buy if for will love it, hands down. It has taken about a week to get the clasp to a point it will stay on, as it keeps popping off. But that’s a minor inconvenience. Very cool bag.

It was a Xmas gift for my husband who looked at it like oh really. Well I went out shopping today and he finished his bag. It’s quite impressive and he said with a smile it’s a cool gift. P.S. he also branded his initials inside the flap!

My in-laws! Yup... my father-in-law suggested this gift as a Christmas present. And boy, was he on-point! I freakin' LOVE this bag. Although it doesn't fit my 15" laptop, it's perfect for my iPad Pro and accessories. I'm the guy that loves putting Ikea furniture together, so this was a treat to just relax after the holidays and put this awesome bag together. And it smells so doggone manly too! Well done Man Crates.

Difficulty - Not at all (assuming you're a man who can read)

Quality - 7/10. Someone else wrote about the plastic washer breaking. Yea, definitely handle those with ease, as the thickness of the leather makes it a bit hard to screw on.

Thoughts:
It'd be nice to have a 15" version of this bag. Also, do you guys sell parts separately? I'd like to order a new clasp for mine.

Really cool gift idea, but there are a couple of issues & once you figure them out this becomes a great project. The magnetic closure is a bit difficult to tighten be very careful of cracking the plastic when tightening. There are not enough screws which means you can't finsh the bag, so to compensate only put one hole in the strap (directions state two holes). We made a call to your very helpful custom support department. Note: I ordered two kits as an after Christmas project. Two really cool bags are complete.
